Foresight is a predictive energy management system (EMS) for commercial and industrial facilities that reduces energy costs and CO2 emissions by perfectly aligning your energy production, consumption and storage while taking into account dynamic energy market prices and grid constraints.
We automatically manage your flexible and renewable energy assets to ensure you're always producing, consuming or buffering energy at the most profitable moments.
What sets us apart? We maximize the value of your entire energy infrastructure: not just solar panels, EV chargers, and batteries, but also heavy thermal systems such as heat pumps, CHP, HVAC and industrial refrigeration.
We don’t just react in real-time. We predict and optimize the best times to produce, store or consume energy by combining advanced AI, physics-based models, and real-time weather forecasts
We transform your industrial heating and cooling into a flexible, controllable asset to cut energy use and lower costs.

Charge your battery when prices are low and use stored energy when energy prices are high.

Avoid (peak load) costs by charging your EV fleet when prices are low.

The Foresight Energy Management System optimizes the energy production and consumption at Leiedal's business park "Transfo site" in Zwevegem, hence reducing the energy cost and CO2 production. The system uses weather and energy consumption predictions to optimally control a multi-technical installation with solar panels, a battery park, heat pumps, a CHP unit and an EV charging station.
In the Kortrijk Business Park, the Foresight Energy Management System was added to an existing software solution that manages the electrical vehicle (EV) charging station to ensure maximal self-consumption of the electricity produced by the solar panels and to shift the remaining needed EV charging to moments when the grid-prices are lowest.
At several customers, Foresight increases self-consumption of local solar electricity production by pre-cooling freezers to for example -23°C instead of -20°C when there is a lot of solar energy production. Also when grid prices are low. Taking into account the dynamics of the specific cooling installations and predictions of ao. solar production and cooling needs. Curtailing solar production when appropriate.
Modern hospitals have a large mix of different technical installations for heating and cooling and for supplying electricity: gas-boilers, Combined Heat-and-Power installations, solar panels, heat-pumps, chillers, freezers, air-conditioning, EV charging parks, batteries, and sometimes even wind turbines. Foresight is being tested to optimally manage such multi-technical installation at a Belgian hospital.
